Rude mushrooms!

I got a pizza today, sausage, mushrooms, and peppers. I opened the box and said, "Hello, mushrooms!", not a peep out of them. I tried again, no response. Why do Zeeky's mushroom's talk and the one's from the local pizzeria don't? Is it something about him that makes them open up to him? Is he the Doctor Phil of the fungal world? If anyone has a clue, please let me know. I thank you.

It couldn't be that, Zeeky eats them by the handful, yet they still talk to him. It's perplexing. I wonder if his toenail fungus talks to him?

Got some Mongolian Beef today. Chock full of mushrooms of various species. Not a peep out of any of them. Of course, Mongolia is steppe country, not a lot of trees, but plenty of grass. And cattle and their droppings are a primary vector for the type of mushroom Zeeky says talk to him. Mycelium are mycelium and roots are roots, ergo, these mushrooms are capable of speech, but they're still not talking. I may have to try water-boarding them?

One just has to wander around the woods in Clarion Cty PA in the spring time here... There is a "Fungus Amongus" They are only Rude with the wrong mindset...
