Very odd broadcasts.
« on: June 14, 2013, 0410 UTC »
Im posting this in SW Pirate section as this section gets ALOT of attention and  i need help identifying 3 transmissions i heard. Please download the folder in the link i give.. it will be the mediafire link at the bottom of this paragraph - PLEASE, Give the clips and listen and the video a watch and HELP ME this has been bothering me for HOURS. One clip is titled ''Decoded'' because, it is just that. I believe. I was just outta the 40m band at about 6.979.844 and that clip i recorded was audible between about [6.979.844 & 6.980.500] @ 0530-0531UTC (4.42am) AEST. i am intermediate at best with CW but i decoded to the best of my abilites and what i found was very interesting. The decoded transmission is explained in the !!README!!.txt file as for the rest ''Clicking'' & ''MORSE&UNKNOWN'' are both just mp3 files, UNKNOWNSOUNDS Is a video. It is is negative and this greatly improved the image quality in such a dark room. Thankyou, and PLEASE help i am very eager to find out what the others say/mean. I may be onto something. I do live less than 15km/6mi from a ''Defence imagery and geospatial organisation'' curtain broadcast antenna array.

yes, the UNKNOWN SOUNDS video around 27035 kHz (U.S.  C.B. ch 7) sounds like FAX.
but you were tuning to quickly.  Tune it in with USB mode
for an alternating 1500 and 2300 hertz signal.

FAX is a FSK signal.      and decoded with a receiver in USB mode.

not sure why that signal was up on 27 MHz.. maybe just a spur.

but you should be able to find a FAX decoder for your computer.
they probably have one that does all them modes.
