I have "S" this morning with a strong signal with moderate fading, and a slow "ditter" in the bandpass. Ditter is at 8000.00 KHz and "S" at 7999.87 KHz. I have seen data and other signals at 8000 KHz in the past so possibly this is some sort of idler other than a beacon. Mark after reading your post I tuned into S and it was s4 in Colorado this morning as well.  I haven't heard it
for over a week. A fun beacon to catch.
