Something briefly heard night before last...

Accidently caught the following @ 0553utc. Aug. 05, in Spanish "3-3-3-1-3" female voice, then wierd sounding tonal burst (?), on 5.855mhz., off @ 0554utc.
Anyone know what this was?

This is a regular scheduled time slot for the Cuban HM01 (hybrid mode) voice and digital numbers station.  And what you are describing matches that station.
