Not the best choice for these transmissions. Try a receiver in Greece, could be catching something more than one west of Russia...

So far, I have only paid attention to propagation conditions.
  I saw rotating multi-element Yagi HF antennas at two of transmission centers.
 Therefore, you also need to pay attention to the expected direction/target area.

Yes, exactly. Even the Polish SVV's numbers E11 and S11a are mostly for southern Europe, despite for their "agents" in Belarus and the Ukraine.
