PIR (Partial India Radio) 6950 USB (relay?) 9/9/13, 0300z
« on: September 09, 2013, 0307 UTC »
A first for me, I missed the original run of Partial India Radio a few years ago.
9/9/13, 6950 USB, 0300z: Chatter between two fellows, Partial India Radio ID.
Poem about Kulpsville.
Chatter with Sanjay about cows, with animal sound effects.  Can't quite copy all due to local RFI and fades.
0314z: "Brought to you by Chicago..." (obscured by local RFI).
0318z: Mention of Chuck Harder's "For the People" show on World Harvest Radio.  This must be a PIR relay, that reference goes back to the 1990s.  Mentions of Radio Azteca, Pirate Radio Boston, other classic pirate radio stations.
0331z: gmail contact info given, including phonetic spelling, but I couldn't copy through darned local RFI and fades.

Fair to middlin' via home receiver with indoor antenna.  Main problem is local RFI.  SINPO=32432.  Some very weak deedly-doodly FSK or RTTY underneath, not enough to cause any problems.

Thanks for the relay, humever you are.   ;D

SDR recording catch, 0258 sign on, weak signal here, not much above the noise floor.

Caught this last night with Harold Krishna & Sanjay making crude jokes (appropriately enough) about Madonna @ 0304gmt., then something about Radio Pakistan, @ 0316gmt. a program titled "666.16" or something like that, now an interview with Dr. Zaius from Planet of the Apes & a comment about sounding like Jimmy Durante, email given again @ 0331gmt., then off @ exactly 03:33:33gmt. (If anybody notices that this post is almost exactly like Uncle John's on another pirate radio logging forum it's because I am the same person). Thanks for the effort!
