3837 voice beacon on 27500khz usb & earlier a CW station
« on: September 22, 2013, 1532 UTC »
Hi all,

1500utc Voice beacon on 27500khz USB using call "3837"

Also I heard a CW station earlier (appox 1430utc) on same frequency using CW @ 15 WPM using the call "38/47DX101" in QSL with "DR JEAN"

The voice beacon is still very loud at this QTH but I'm going to head up to 10m to see if anything is happening up there.

BTW I do have mp3's of the above if needed.

Not hearing anything on 27500 kHz at 1540Z.

Hearing a few stations 28300-28500 USB, nothing near 29MHz AM nor around 29.6+ MHz in FM.

1611Z: Hearing the beacon now fairly strong at about S9 45344. Male voice saying "3 8 DIVISION  3 8 DIVISION  3 8 DIVISION  VOICE BEACON"
(I think its "division")
