I keep farting with turning sidebands on and off while keeping the carrier.  Seems like I get more "punch" on the remote SDRs with just one sideband.  No surprise there.  How is the TX? (Also should this be a new thread?)
Bitte warten, Sternradio hat technische Schwierigkeiten. Der Sender raucht. Rauchen wird dich töten.

It should be possible to do Asymmetrical Sideband on AM as well where one sideband has 125% modulation and the other have 75% modulation. I know some AM stations nearby me do it to reach farther

It's fun to watch you switch between Carrier + USB or Carrier + LSB or full AM. tonight.  Still going strong at 05:17....almost time for me to pack it in!  73,  Walt (on the ground in Masset, having just installed a brand new KiwiSDR).

Vestigal Sideband almost.  Though I suspect they're required to have both sideband.  Curious though to see how the AM compatible sideband goes.  I'm still running the same carrier levels as I would with full AM.  In theory, a classic diode detector should be able to listen as well.

~S9 and SIO 544 trending 545 at 0524z via Airspy HF+D and 31' vertical.

BTW, Stereo Tool can generate asymmetrical AM modulation if interested.
