Pretty good again tonight, S9 on the 545 and tilted folded dipole.

ID at 2347 and then into more music.

Strong peak of signal at 0028, then gone in seconds.

Since 2345, the signal is "Poor" to "Unusable" in Wyomissing.

Maybe some QRM, but it is rather noisy this evening.

00:00 AM carrier at 6974.33.
A second weaker carrier at 6974.63 causing low-freq. het on USB and AM.
Music with male and female announcers, muddy audio so not very readable.

Hearing them with a stronger signal than usual, but qrm makes rough copy.  Male and female announcer, details same as DreamWeeVA.
Clear ID and email @ 0030z
'Severina' then another ID @ 0039, then a few seconds of 'Mexican Radio'.
Then 'When You're Evil' [Shazam ID] @ 0042z
Signal is up nicely @ 0125, probably the best I have ever heard MRI
Playing X-Files theme @ 0128z

I first tuned in at 0031z and found a decent copy of MRI with banter between DJF & MsS and into music.  Things turned evil around 0143z with Halloween themed dark music, spooky talk like "a darker shade of death", song "Satan drives a Volvo", and other creepy tunes.  Assuming this is still coming from MRI on 6974.3am.  Decent copy throughout most of the broadcast from first tuning in at 0031z.  S5 on the lows, but mostly S6-S7.

Barely heard it earlier this evening in NE Illinois. Tuned in at 0105utc and heard bits of audio, heard heavy metal, then spacey music, then "tubular bells".
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com
