Poor into TN SDR, ID 0102, much stronger into Cape Cod. "Celebrating 12 years of RTI." Distorted audio at times. "Radio Titanic International, your favorite shortwave station," announcing a few meterbands and 101FM. Very European. Seems to be a recording from 1987, then a recording from 1990. "Free radio from Germany since 1975."

Big into SWDX late 70s through early 90s, then forgot about it and when I returned via SDRs it wasn't at all what I remembered, but I'll deal with it. Grumble, grumble. All SDRs acknowledged, nothing is from my own radio.

I can barely hear the station mainly with a man announcer talking at 0102 UTC. Quite weak here.

SINPO=45333, but most audio is a bit muffled sounding.

131- Upbeat, semi-rap sounding tune with OM vocals, sounding like a parody song, but can't ID.
133- OM on the mic briefly, advertising special economy class.
134- Upbeat pop sounding tune with OM vocals (spoken word), about The Titanic and then discovering the wreck.
138- OM on the mic over music. Mention QSL, and IDs Radio Titanic International.
138- "Radio Titanic International...Free radio from Germany," OM recorded ID.
139- "Attenzione Go Go Radio" by Bernie Paul, with OM IDing repeatedly over the song. He thanks relaying radio station, I believe?
140- Song continues.
140- Recorded OM ID with mailing address in Germany (PO Box), over music.
141- OM mentions special QSL card, over music. Then says "bye bye" twice, and maybe "happy holidays."
142- More IDs over music, with mention of "since 1975."
142- OM says "bye bye, and take care...Radio Titanic International closing down."
142- Song continues.
144- OM IDs again over music, repeatedly. Gives address again.
144- Sound effects, then song continues.
144- One last ID by OM, over song.
145- OM synth voice IDs, then OM IDs again.
145- Wolfman Jack sounding OM on the mic.

It’s been quite a few years since I last heard Radio Titanic Intl. Wow, it’s great to catch just a small part of the signal tonight with the relay. Not a good signal at all. I heard only a slight amount of audio. Thanks for sending out the relay!

Good signal, bots of noise, in western NY at 0158z, best at 4.0 bandwidth, LSB

0158z   "Radio Titanic International"
0159z   talk mentions "13 thousand", hard to hear much else
0200z   "Radio Titanic International"
0202z   "Radio Titanic International"
0203z   Man speaking with music in the background
0207z   "RTI"
0211z   "Radio Titanic InternationL" (femnale voice), "17 years on shortwave"
0217z   Station address announced, but couldn't catch, maybe a post box in Germany?

Drake R8B, 600 fott longwire, aimed west, much poorer on 200 foot wire aimed southeast

Pse QSL if you survive the voyage to jim(dot)renfrew(at)gmail(dot)com
