Liquid Radio on 5110 AM, WBCQ Area 51
« on: July 26, 2009, 0028 UTC »
7/25/09, Liquid Radio on 5110 AM, WBCQ Area 51.  Frequency centered on 5109.9, with audio in AM and USB only, per usual for WBCQ on this frequency.
Good signal, better than usual for WBCQ on 5110 to my area, especially before dark.
Liquid Radio ID at 0150z, followed by throbbing instrumental dance music.  Some voices audible, not clear whether part of music or ambient noise from a nightclub.
0201z: Signal dropped like a rock at top of hour, apparently off air without closing ID.
SINPO - 33222, peaking between S7-S9 in AM mode, lots of noise and rapid fluttering fades but good punchy audio.
(N. Central TX - Palstar R30C w/ indoor fugloop)
First 30 seconds in USB, next 30 sec in AM mode: 1 minute, 230 kB mp3 from end of Liquid Radio show on WBCQ.
