Blue Ocean Radio 6935u 10-13-13 0355utc
« on: October 13, 2013, 0400 UTC »
Tuned in at 0355.  Blues music, but no ID heard yet.  Not a real strong signal, but enough to copy above the noise.

Just heard a BOR ID at 0400.

Thanks BOR!  Thanks for the shout too!

Blue Ocean Radio logged 13 October 2013 from 0156 to 0215 UTC on 6935U here in northern New Jersey with a readable signal. Program of New Age music, including a piece at heard at 0203 UTC which sounded very much like a favorite artist of mine named Kamal, who is masterful with sounds using the synthesizer. ID's heard at 0207 and 0208 UTC: "This is Blue Ocean Radio on shortwave." Also ID'd as "We play the best music for you...You are listening to BOR - Blue Ocean Radio at 0210 UTC and provided listeners with the e-mail address: Blueoceanradio@hotmail.com. from the Netherlands.

SIO=353 on the Eton e1 with PAR End-Fed Z EF-SWL antenna.

Thank you for the beautiful music tonight! Please QSL.

Blue Ocean Radio logging 13 October 2013 update: Both the Blueoceanradio@hotmail.com and borshortwave@gmail.com addresses bounced back to me. Does anyone have a current e-mail address for Blue Ocean? If not, a postal address for use?
