I know this is "sketchy", but I've been hearing a possible military comm identifying as "Mayfield" the past couple days on 15.016 USB. Last tx heard was 22:56z today.

Transmissions are quite brief, and I didn't have a recorder running. Just found it yesterday, so I don't have much more to add.

Just one freq to "watch".

This is one frequency in the US Air Force maintained HF-GCS network.  More than jsut the US Air Force uses this network, but they op / maintain it.  Many, many, messages a day will be heard on the common freqs, 4724, 6739, 8992, 11175, 13200, and 15016 kHz.  Often messages are simulcast on more than one frequency at a time, so that all freqs might be carrying the same traffic.

I'll have to try the other freqs besides 15016 also then.

Thanks!

Captain Radio; those are some great reception report cards on your site.  I had some from around that same time frame , a bit later,  but they got lost in a move.
