That was .425's biggest jammer "billygoat" from north of Los Angeles. He runs an Alpha 78 with a 5 element beam.

I guess he was spared of the fires. He was BOOMING in. After the transmission was over, I heard a few, including someone who sounded like he was from a southern country, reply "God bless America". But, that initial transmission sounded like he had the sound piped in to the radio through a mixer, rather than through a mic. Later, I heard some others make disparaging, racist remarks about the people who hang out on channel 6. But on freeband, I guess anything goes. Its not like I can't be a big boy and change the freq if I don't like it.... which I did.
