SINPO=55444, just wow! Stereo quality sounding audio. Amazing stuff!

219- "Sick Of You" by GWAR.
222- OM synth voice IDs and talking about signal, stereo detected, etc.
222- "Everything Ends" by Slipknot.
Thanks for the stereo report!  It's been the most pointless labor of love. Perfecting the AM stereo system! :D

0202: very strong signal, with "thumping" noise -> music "Radioactivity" - Kraftwerk
0204: QSY to 6974.6; ID in waterfall

0209: YL in GG

0210: "Kerosene" - Big Black

Thank you for the program!
Oh that image is pretty.  Watching the USB snap away while the LSB is doing it's own thing.  That's sex in RF.

Excellent signal with modern metal, etc. Because of the reminder about stereo broadcasting, I turned down the volume on my R8 & started checking KIWI SDRs. Listening now online in stereo on headphones. Very nice. I haven't listened to much stereo shortwave, just X-FM prior to this, and I'm wondering if some of the cross-channel fades might be caused by propagation and not by the stereo mix

It's an ISB compatible system.  I can drop a channel for a moment or three!

Yes, that's the only way that you would be able to do this. (That is, to have different "art" on the LSB than there is on the USB.)

0430 - Black Sabbath, very listenable on a midwest SDR, SINPO 44334. Not listenable at home on the left coast; I can clearly see the carrier on the waterfall but it's not strong enough for the necessary SNR.
0441 - ID and email address. Sign off music.
0446 - Checked back and they are gone.

The magic is getting the mix right for such that an envelope detector doesn't shit it pants!  There have been times where my phase relationships were all sorts of fucked and ISB stereo detectors could RX just fine, but regular AM receivers couldn't make out squat.  It's more like old time Ma Bell frequency division multiplexing with sub-carriers going on!  Maybe! :D

Oh, I see. Are you generating the artwork at audible frequencies and mixing it up to ~10 KHz or whatever? Or are you synthesizing the whole thing?
