S3-S5 signal with considerable storm noise heard via the Lodi, New York, SDR ...

0009 UTC: "Bright Side of the Road" by Van Morrison.
0012 UTC: "American Girl" by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
0016 UTC: "When Smokey Sings" by ABC.
0019 UTC: "Stay With Me" by the Faces. Now listening via the Rochester, New York, SDR, which also has an S3-S5 signal but less storm noise.
0024 UTC: "Pass the Dutchie (12-inch version)" by Musical Youth.
0028 UTC: Possible OM with ID?, then "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" by Bachman-Turner-Overdrive.
0032 UTC: "Because the Night" by Patti Smith Group (such a great song).
0035 UTC: "Rock & Roll (Stereo Album)" by The Velvet Underground.
0040 UTC: "In the Summertime" by Mungo Jerry (doesn't sound like the usual version, though).
0043 UTC: Sound clip or maybe an ID into "Two Tribes (Carnage Mix)" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
0047 UTC: "I Don't Want Your Love" by Duran Duran.
0051 UTC: "Werewolves of London" by Warren Zevon. Now an S5-S7 signal heard via an Ottawa area SDR.
0055 UTC: "Sowing the Seeds of Love" by Tears for Fears.
0057 UTC: Buzzsaw-like interference now heard over the music.
0059 UTC: "I'm the One" by Van Halen.

Thanks for the Sunday night music!

0053 on Brookfield WI sdr with weak S5-S7 signal, song "werewolves of London" by Warren Zevon,
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, CB antenna, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. williamhassig@yahoo.com

0118 there has to be a dome over NYC tonight. Not hearing this station either.
All reports given are direct from my station in NYC.
Main toys are a Flex 3000 SDR, Icom 756 Pro II and other assorted odds & ends. They may be older, but work very well for me.
100 ft random wire (all my city lot allows)
