Hello,

Thanks for sharing.  I should be able to pick up New Star from my position in Idaho since Asian signals are very strong in the morning.

How did you capture the audio/video from the Global Tuners website?

I'm using http://obsproject.com/.

256k AAC audio, max. 4Mbps variable video @ 1080p, quality 8.
It needs a reasonably fast computer to encode the video in real time, this is on a 2.6GHz quadcore with GTX260.

Vince, in the morning your time try 8300 kHz for V13.

Also, both CamStudio and SnagIt work well to capture screens for video.  All of the videos on my YouTube channel were done with one or the other of those.

Token, what do you define as morning re. the above?  I'd like to see if I could hear V13 here in West Texas.

A couple of the time periods they use that freqeuncy (8300 kHz) are 1200 and 1300 UTC.  Try those.  1200 is your best bet.

Hi Vince,

Here are the current schedules
Station #?: 9276 kHz, 0200, 0300, 0400 UTC.
Station #3: 8300 kHz, 0500 and 0600 UTC.
Station #4: 9522 kHz, 0700 and 0800 UTC
Station #4: 8300 kHz, 1200 and 1300 UTC
Note: not all the skeds are not always on the air. The skeds at 0700, 0800, 1200 and 1300 are most of the time on the air. 0500 and 0600 were off most of the time in the past month. They were sometimes replaced by transmissions at 0200, 0300 or 0400 UTC

Good luck,
Ary

I saw the program you were using and it looked like you were connecting with other SDR users.  Is that part of the program, too?  What type of radio(s) are you using?

who? me? For the morning transmissions of V13 I use the Global Tuners remote receiver in Hong Kong beacuse at that time I cannot hear the station here in Holland. The 1200 and 1300 transmissions are sometimes audible here but not very good. When I am not at work I regularly try the HK remote at these times as well.

I meant the SIGMIRA program...it looks like you were connecting with other linked SDR receivers but I could be mistaken.
