clear strong no fade 6.180 am cuba
JRC NRD 345 hf receiver. 135 ft. north/south long wire at 40 feet.

I don't mean to sound like a skeptical jerk, but are you sure that's Cuba?  Only it's usually Radio Nacional da Amazonia from Brazil on that frequency.  I've never heard Cuba there, though given the sheer number of freqs they occupy and their tendency to goof every now and again, maybe they've landed there temporarily...

Yeah that is probably RNA from Brazil on 6180. I often hear Cuba splattering up as high as 6180 from their 6165 frequency though.
