UNID 6954.6 KHz AM 0001 UTC 3/14/2014
« on: March 14, 2014, 0001 UTC »
Carrier was on for a bit, went off, now is back on 6954.6 KHz AM again with low modulation. Possibly an ID of some kind. Then into an old time kind of tune at 0003 UTC. Carrier is S8 but audio is extremely low.

Carrier on/off intermittently since b4 2353 at S9 at about 6954.6kHz

2359 trace music, then unid 60's song
0002 unid old tune
0005 another old tune
0010 rockabilly track
0014 OM spoken lyric over dreamy mx
0017 off w/o apparent ID
0027 on again with song played at 0014  ---  much improved audio!  Better mod and I did not note a hum
0030 kindof a Norlins jazz song and abruptly into "Judy In Disguise" at 0032
0035 off

Due to the audio hum and also a distinctive little hook on the freq when the carrier is keyed, I think this may be:
http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,15818.0.html

This was also seen testing 11Mar14 2309-2318z on the same freq

Thanks!

Threshold audio here at 0005 UTC...good carrier but audio at the noise floor. Can hear music very weakly...negligible copy though. Carrier peaks at S5-S6.
I'm getting the placebo effect here...back to 6205 for me.
Getting this better at 0030 UTC on 6954.6..."Judy In Disguise"-John Fred & His Playboy Band...just above the noise floor now

S7 carrier here, but rough copy of the audio.  Same details as JFarley.  off @ 0017.
Back on with better audio and signal.  "Weed Smoker's Dream" @ 0031.  "Judy in Disguise" @ 0033z.  off again @ 0036z

Back again at 0027 UTC, still seemingly playing some kind of radio drama?

0029 UTC. Some talk. This continues my theme of the signal being at the threshold of copy-ability. Carrier is S8 on peaks, deep fades. Music is playing now.

Judy----with glasses and then carrier off at 0035.
