8888 kHz USB UNID Italian Language Comms 1342 UTC 26 Feb 2026 [G8JNJ SDR]
« on: February 26, 2026, 1343 UTC »
Seems like the frequency is in use by at least two different groups at once.  8888 kHz 8.888 MHz USB and 8888.8 kHz USB, both chatting away.  8888kHz is also apparently an aeronautical weather / meteo broadcast (VOLMET) frequency (in Russian).
