They are in 5-letter groups and not cut-number CW (which would be a shorthand for numbers, i.e A=1, U=2, V=3).
I copied some of it as: "MPWMK JNVSF QJOPK EAOZK" and so on.
While typing this reply, this station stopped the letters sequence, sent "NR 50A  NR 50A"  which I interpret as "number 50 A", then commenced with additional 5-letter groups.

Without a recording it is difficult to be sure, but it sounds like you are describing the station that carries the Enigma ID of M51, also called FAV22.  This station is run by the French military and is supposed to be for CW (Morse Code) practice.  They use many different freqs, and often will pop up on a previously unused freq.
