QSL to umst777@yahoo.com would be greatly appreciated!
SDRplay RSP2/RSPdx  w/SDRuno SW ; N-S 43M Dipole /  Disclaimer: Shazam/Sound-Hound used to ID many songs.

Never thought it would come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio. Is life great, or what!?

0103 S6 or so and quite readable if I listen on LSB to avoid the utility that is just above. Sounds like, you guessed it.......Liquid Radio
0108 Confirmed ID as Liquid Radio
0231 Signal has come way up to S8. Not bad for a low power station at that distance.

0108 S7 with decent audio. Actually hearing them this evening.
All reports given are direct from my station in NYC.
Main toys are a Flex SDR, Icom 756 Pro II and other assorted odds & ends. They may be older, but work very well for me.
100 ft random wire (all my city lot allows)

0139 on Empire sdr2 with weak S5-S7 signal, pop music at noise level,
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, CB antenna, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. williamhassig@yahoo.com
