This morning, first time ever I am hearing a beacon at 6626.3  that must be "Rainy". Definitely a rapid, drippy "chirp" and not a buzz.

Using the KX3 receiver this time and also grabbed an audio recording on my new Sony solid state recorder.

Hearing the same beacon 0n 6626.3 all this morning and it is still hanging in there even now, just past noon local time.  Makes we wonder if this beacon has been off the air for a while and was recently reestablished.

This morning I had good reception of the 2097 KHz "A" beacon at 06:30 hours local or 1:30 UTC using the NRD-525. I checked the other freqs but no luck.

I've been checking 4096 and vicinity every morning for the last week or so, and have heard nothing.

Same here. Hard to say if it is band conditions or hardware failure.

Once again, nothing on 4096.

I have A on 2097, but it is extremely weak, so perhaps just poor conditions?

maybe it is time of day and NVIS conditions versus more "normal" propagation?

at 6 AM local or 1300 UTC I walked my NRD-525 through the list of known beacons and only heard the 2097 KHz CW beacon "A" with good copy. Supposedly it is in Arizona and I am in California not far from Disneyland. Maybe someone better versed in propagation can comment on the disparity in reception. Some of the Inyo and Joshua tree beacons are much closer and may not have antennas that are good for NVIS at this time of day?

A beacon, finally!

Literally... I am hearing A on 2097.  It was not there when I checked an hour ago, but now being faintly heard around 1052z.

Nothing on 4096. I do have the various Korean clandestines on 3,4 and 6 MHz, however.

I did not hear a single beacon at my usual early hour.

Where is there a list of "Korean clandestines"?
