Another strange thing is this seems to be fully automated like a commercial station. Switches to news at the top of the hour for 5 mins then seamlessly switches back over to programming as if there is elaborate computerized automation in control. "Murder at midnight" actually plays at midnight so some thought and work went into this.

Good signal here this early evening on 6771.3 ish AM at 2345 UTC tune-in playing cocktail lounge blues and a familiar sounding instrumental tune, the name of which escapes me at the moment. S8 at peaks and well above the noise floor, but marred by occasional static crashes. The audio quality is actually quite good! Hey mystery op....how about some email contact or something? You have us bewildered! ???
(I think the tune was Sunrise Serenade.)

I think it went off some time between 0000z and 0105z (now) Did anyone catch it as it ended, maybe saying what it was?

Its actually still on. Never ended. Probably just faded out for you. I seem to be able to hear at least a carrier round the clock here.

That's odd, I could get the carrier throughout the day, then nearly full audio in the evening. Maybe they have a directional antenna and turned it? I couldn't even get a faint carrier then, which is why I thought it ended.

Barely any signal around 1030z this morning, just a faint carrier. Now S7 at 1206z, the news just ended and they're back into the music.

Looking at the SDR waterfall, the audio is at least +/- 10 kHz wide.

I've been able to hear this at varying degrees of signal strength 24/7. Weakest between 0800-1200 when the MUF is lowest.
Propagation similar to CFRX 6070 in Toronto. Hopefully they will return.

Barely audible again at 1900z. I just checked the real time foF2 map, and the current value over the Mid Atlantic US is 6 MHz, slightly lower to the north and higher to the south. The F layer has been weaker than usual the last few days, I see the solar flux is down to 99.

Just starting to see and hear hints of the carrier at 2006 UTC. The carrier is just above/below the noise (Noisy) floor at this time.

Agree with Chris Lobdell that this seems similar to CFRX in prop.
