Fair copy with deep fading RST 578

Fair copy because I am not using my CW filters.

There may be some openings on 10 meters if conditions hold.

I heard quite a few weak CW beacons on 10 meters this morning. I haven't gone looking for 10m beacons in many, many months but conditions seemed good this morning. Unfortunately I didn't (don't) keep a log any more but tons of fun anyway.

I don't often log beacons on 10 meters but I do use them for propagation conditions... and that is why I posted this one... generally when 10 is working fair to good the lower frequencies are working better  ;D

10 meters has been dead as a doornail here in W. Washington. Not a peep from any of the 10 meter beacons. Even CB has few, if any, signals. Outband dead also. :-(

hmmmmm.... must be a regional 'hop' situation...  Most of what I hear on 11 and 10 meters are from the south a.k.a. the 'ola' radio etc

it did seems strange to hear a beacon from New England....  There was also skip up on 6 meters too a few hams reported it but more didn't hear a thing...

Must be the weather patterns from point X to point Y....
