Watching Viking rapidly drop in frequency in mere minutes. Must be in the shadows and coolong off. Started at 4096.960 and it is already down to 4096.024. Some mild fading going on too, making it a little harder to track

7039.350 KHz

Right this moment I can actually hear what sounds like T but it is on 7039.350 KHz which seems far off frequency for the typical Russian beacon. Signal strength is 10 dB or so above the noise floor with periodic quick fading or interruptions in the signal. Also the time of day is wrong for receiving Russian beacons here. So maybe it is a hobbyist?

i heard the Russian M beacon this morning on 7039.400 so that answers the question of them not being related
