UNID w/ NBC radio show 6925 USB
« on: November 17, 2009, 0058 UTC »
11/17/09, 6925 USB, 0047z: Familiar NBC chimes, announcer, older radio show with music.  Weak signal, not quite enough to copy much.  Off or faded by 0055z.

Per info from listeners on IRC #pirateradio (The Web, leaf, Zane, DimBulb, Textim, others), this may have been audio from old The Eveready Hour show on NBC affiliate WEAF.  The Web's audio clip sounds like W-E-A-F-U-R.  Textim is holding out for "WEAF New York", which would explain the clipped sound of the "R" at the end.

After listening to Zane's recording, definitely sounds like "W-E-A-F New Yawk", distinctive yankee pronunciation of "New Yawk".
