Back in the days when there was a lot of radio telephone traffic from oil rigs in the Gulf to onshore stations, I heard an interesting series of conversations between a man and woman.They were on almost every night for a month, romancing each other in AM mode around 6240 Khz. She was in Florida and judging by his accent he hailed from S. Louisiana and was on a rig.

One night while listening for Europirates, I heard her calling him. A different male voice comes back, "He had to quit, honey, his wife heard the two of you talking."

Back tonight at 0030, Car Problems etc... Both sides at a good level

Heard them again this AM, about 1430z...

Heard ALE, she answered & he had her call someone to accept an offer on a house he had for sale...

Heard both sides, during daylight, right on "The Secret One"...

He said he was going to use the money for work on the boat...

I've listened to this interesting radio reality show on 4 occasions....they end each message with "Quebec", and a few evenings ago their young offspring was talking with daddy! Other times, there were problems with the refrigerator, the car...looking forward to the next episode of "Shrimpman and Honey"
