Very strong signal with clear audio, just a few static crashes here and there.

Started with announcements that XFM was going to broadcast, then into audio clips from "Pump Up the Volume" (man, I haven't seen that movie in a long time, think I still have it on VHS around here somewhere), then into Big Country.
Happiness is a good antenna system.

Tuned in at 0157 after RFW left air, poor with much static, good audio, said: "XFM, the power of X", R2000 & dipole.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Just tuned in at 0157 after RFW closed down. Solid S6 signal here with a fair amount of atmospheric snap, crackle, and pop. Excellent audio is coming through really good though!
0211 UTC DJ Redhat with chat, shoutouts into tunage at 0214 UTC
0229 UTC Thanks for the shoutout DJ Redhat!
The storm static seems to have diminished a bit over the last 15 minutes....

0346 UTC "Walking On the Moon"-Police (there, I could ID one of the songs!)
Signal is a nice steady S8 here...
0410 UTC and still a great signal...time to put the NRD on the timer and fall asleep to the Power of X...thanks for the great evening DJ Redhat! :)
