Tuned in at 0125utc, fair/good sig, good wideband audio for ssb, some pop/rock from 80's & 90's, banter between DJs, talk of shingles, using 6khz wide filter on the Drake R8, QSL at dickweeddj@gmail.com.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Catching RFW here with a S8 at 0201 and excellent audio. Also being heard on the Twente SDR with a S4-5. I see you played Satanic Surfers. How about playing something by the Butthole Surfers? Thanks for the show Dickweed and Stavin! Sounding good! ;D

See, I was right about having way more listeners than the current posters on hfu at the time of the show. Lots of late posts on this one but still appreciated! Now, by my estimates only 14, 000 people or so need to check in yet  ;D

We did E-QSL for a while but we got behind a little over a year ago and haven't since. We used to do nice personalized QSLs but it got tedious to do a dozen or so after shows...at least for me Mr. A.D.D. So I asked Assistant Stavin to do it. After all, HES THE FRIGGIN ASSISTANT. I produce each show myself in the studio. I spend hours listening and flagging new tunes to share on RFW. Surely just doing the QSLs would be an ok chore for Stavin...but then his computer crashed and then he got incarcerated, and then he had some mini strokes, and then he had biblical leprosy, uh herpes, I mean um...SHINGLES. Yada Yada Yada, one excuse after another. Yeah so he won't do them. I'm tired of disappointing people over the QSL thing so I have an idea. Maybe I can post a generic QSL on here for each show y'all can download. It's a hell of a lot easier to make one than like 10 or more per show.

Hello Dick Weed,
I guess this is a compromise a lot of folks could live with.
But I takes somewhat the spirt away, from sending out a
reception report and to hopefully receive a personalized eQSL from you
a some point.
At the end is your suggestion better, than being completely empty handed as a listener.

Thanks a lot for the first community eQSL you posted.Your efforts are appreciated Comrade.

*My suggestion would be,to find a voluntary eQSL Manager for RFW, if Stavin can't handle it.*

If I could get an old fashioned snail mail drop that would be even better. I would drop some cash to print up some nice glossy paper cards but somebody's gotta send them. For now please accept my shitty offering. Oh and some day soon we should be releasing this QSL artwork on a tshirt. That is something else I'm being patient with Stavin on.

T-shirt is great idea Dick Weed! Dr. Benway did this last year, sold some nice Undercover Radio T's through www.booster.com and supported a good charity in the process - Wounded Warrior. Might want to give booster .com a try, I understand they're pretty easy to work with.
Keep it up with your awesome signal! You're often the dominant pirate signal - 14,000 listeners can't be wrong ;-) 1
