Common and Precious QSL Card available
« on: July 28, 2015, 2319 UTC »
Hey there,

(Please feel free to move this topic in case there's a better place for it. :) )

About two months a go I asked a friend (designer) to do a QSL Card. He never did. So... screw it. I did it one my own today night. I send cards to those I (still) owe one out tomorrow.

And of course: want one? Send a valid report (with audio if possible. Ask for mail via DM.)

Greetings,
Zazzle

Chucks,
per the heraldic animal on Zazzel's QSL I would guess Berlin / Germany.
Which is an estimated 4200 Miles North-East from your location in PA.

Zazzle, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey chucks!

I don't know what part of the world you are located in but I have been listening for two days now and haven't heard anything so far.
I live in south central Pennsylvania but will keep an eye er'  ear out for it for a few more days.

I (sadly) assume it's not that likely that you'll hear it often, if at all. So far I only got two reports from the US east coast (around NY) in March. When looking at propagation prediction charts only the east cost ist frequently covered with 15-30%. It's a bit of a shame because those reports really got me all bouncy. I'd like to say thank you for listening and l'd love you for having an eye (err... ear) to the frequency every now and then. Maybe, if fortuna is on our side, it'll make it to your place. :)

Kind regards,
~Zazze

I guess I should have looked closer at the qsl card esp. the shield in the upper left and I might have
guessed your location, The dancing bear.

I will still listen when I am in the shack because you never know when the fickle finger of the
prop gods will pop UP.  :)

Hello!

Are reception reports and audio recordings from Eastern Europe acceptable?

BTW, something is wrong with tone at the moment: the frequency has slightly been swinging.

Of couse! There' no restriction in any regard. I'm always bouncy about a new report. I'll DM you my mailaddy. :)

Hmm, it's pretty hot today. The Transmitter sits on a (even hotter) black roof in a chassis that's also black. And it produces heat itself. Maybe that causes a minor oscillation instability. Will check that on the next hot da on a weekend. Thank you for the report! :)
