Beware the moon!

I see a bad moon rising.
I see trouble on the way.
I see earthquakes and lightnin'.
I see bad times today.

Don't go around tonight,
Well it's bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise.

I hear hurricanes a blowing.
I know the end is coming soon.
I fear rivers over flowing.
I hear the voice of rage and ruin.

Well don't go around tonight,
Well it's bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise.

Hope you got your things together.
Hope you are quite prepared to die.
Looks like we're in for nasty weather.
One eye is taken for an eye.

Well don't go around tonight,
Well it's bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise.

Don't come around tonight,
Well it's bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise.

Cool crisp air here in Western MA and the sky is clear. It's 0125 UTC and the moon is a little less than 25% covered. Looks to be a great viewing this evening with full eclipse expected at 0300 UTC or thereabouts
The news reports were confusing! Total eclipse is 0221 UTC...going back out to check it out again. It would make a great SSTV pic ;D

Composite image showing the full moon transition to lunar eclipse and back.
The image was taken on a Dallas roof top with an interval of 10 minutes.
