are you receiving what appears to be some sort of radio broadcast at 27.125.201 AM thats fading in and out ?
its not the standard CB stuff, sounds like a shortwave broadcast with religious chat going on.
i have never heard this on this frequency before though it may be a spurious image or interference of some kind.
my location is zip code 11946.

Here in Kentucky, I don't have any continuous carriers on 27125 (+/-) that would indicate a broadcast.
I do have several 2-way comms on the frequency.  The only ones that get above the noise enough to be intelligible are Spanish language.

Nothing like that being heard here on 27125, just the usual CB stuff.

Hey, I have the STL also! This is the first time I have heard it.

Got nothing on 27125 right now.  27125 is CB channel 14 which is one of the channels used by local CB stations in my area.

I've got a weak STL signal on 25910 FM and barely a signal on 26110 FM, nothing on the other usual STL frequencies however.  The band seems to have quieted down a bit over the past hour or so.

This is the first time I've heard something on 26110 FM though

thanks everyone, whatever it was is no longer there.
it was probably a spurious image from a very strong SW broadcast which i often get around here and happens if i have the RF gain too high.
being on the eastern part of long island (hampton bays), i often get extremely strong radio signals originating east and south of me causing lots of image issues.

I've heard stations playing music at each other (or just playing music) in the legal CB band (26965-27405) and above and below that frequency range - so its entirely possible you were hearing somebody playing music.  Especially with the propagation being the way it is today you could have heard a CB station retransmitting another station's signal.
