Heavy metal poking above low noise floor, heard clear ID, R8 & dipole.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Hearing music right at the noise level on 6955 kHz USB at 0252 UTC 03 January 2016.  Noisy conditions tonight at my local RX location and at the K2SDR WebSDR remote RX location.

Good frequency choice.  Over the horizon radar (OTHR) at 6940-6950 kHz and then again at 6965-6975 kHz.

0254 - Dropped below the noise
0256 - Coming back up, can hear music again...but can't tell what kind of music or the song at this point
0310 - Tuned back in, signal has improved slightly.  I can hear some hip-hop music right above the noise floor.
0312 - FM-CW OTHR bursts, again at 0313

Signal came up above the noise around 0320 UTC...fading in and out of the noise, but some S4 peaks with an S2 noise floor. Pretty steady since then and it's now 0355 UTC and time to put the NRD on timer and fall asleep to XLR8 whilst reading old Monitoring Times articles. Life is good.... :)
QSL's to poorbrookking >at< aol.com are greatly appreciated! All reception and postings using My radio, My antenna, and generally in real time(excluding posting of SSTV images!).

0400Z:  He's really rocking now!  Great guitar solo and vocals!
10dB over S9 here in Georgia.  My decode is below.
0530Z:  Still jamming!  Now 20dB over S9.  Propagation is good!
0550Z:  Signal level dropped.  Second decode not so good.
(If someone changes the Subject line to 3 Jan 16, I'll change the name of the image!)
