UNID 6940 AM 2110 UTC 01/30/2016

Was hearing music at noise level for a few minutes, then "The Final Countdown" pops out of the noise with some pretty decent audio quality.  Still pretty noisy, but I can at least tell which song is being played now.

2119 UTC - Some sort of echo FX comes on over the final notes of "The Final Countdown", then modulation disappeared.  Carrier still there at S8 signal levels but there does not appear to be any modulation/audio at 2120 UTC.

2120 UTC - Just as I type the last sentence, something else comes on the same carrier...its "Rock Lobster" by The B-52s

Still have a carrier here at 2300 with a S5-6 at best and hearing some talk when it comes out of the noise but that is about it. :-\

S8 or more here @ 2303 with OM or maybe 2 in discussion.  Some noisy QRM on frequency causing problems.
Sounds like a vintage radio show of some kind.
Possible ID @ 2304 - will need to listen to the recording.
I had to leave for a bit, but still there @ 0002 with a Glen Miller tune.

Tough signal tonight. Noise level is high at the moment and signal is S9.

Great oldie song. Announcer ID'ing song as "I Want To Go Home."
