« on: February 13, 2016, 0239 UTC »
I am hearing KROW on 6920U @ 0235

ID with a request for reports to HF Underground or the FRN.

Now a spoken word type of story.

Signal is up and down above the noise, but seems to be coming up...

A long story in the static hard to make out. Have an S3 signal and a noise floor peaking up to S5 or so.
At 0301 started to play a song that sounded like it was an American Indian song.
Off or faded out at 0304.

Announcer heard speaking very slowly. Noise levels have dropped a lot tonight but signal is too weak to really make out what is being said.
All logs made from my own SDRs, boatanchors, and antennas
QTH: vicinity of Auburn, Alabama

Agreed, its S3-S4 here...

Story seems to be about someone getting freed from a palace.... Mention of mummies at 0300 in the story....

0303 crow cawing and Native American chants " you are listening to KROW" and reception requests to HFU and FRN"

Off at 0304

Sounds like KROW either fired up again @ 0355.... or the band came back up here...

A little stronger this time. Sounds like a children's song.... About a morgue?

ID at 0403 "Thank you for tuning into KROW"

Spoken word at 0405

Crows cawing at 0408 I'd and thank you for tuning into our test broadcast. Please send Reception reports to HFU or FRN. This is KROW signing off.... More crow caws, off at 0410

Signal was S3-S4

Hi Bow, nice to see you around again! I had a bit of audio for a minute or two, but then it signed off. I let the recorder run for an hour and it caught someone (maybe KROW again?) tuning up for a minute or two on 6920. I have a recording if the op's interested.

Thanks for the broadcast!
Andrew
