Great article. Lots of good ideas.
Speaking of "torches", of the non flashlight kind I have added a BernzOmatic 3-in-1 butane micro torch / soldering iron to my kit. It has pencil flame, hot blower and fine solder tip. Also works as a cigar lighter :)
