Only a carrier here, also, but it is strong.
It's odd.  Strong ute on 6945 USB whicj is there all the time at my location.
6950  is strong on LSB and hasn't been there before.

Perhaps the carrier you are referring to is the one on 6947.5? There is usually a loud FSK ute there. It is about an S9 here now and has been there almost nonstop the last couple days

Possibly, but it seems to be strongest on 6950 and 6945.

Yeah, that carrier, apparently one leg of the FSK tone, has been there for several days now.

I know this sounds pretty far fetched, but possibly a jammer.

Jammers are pretty much never a solid unmodulated carrier like that.  A simple notch filter will remove it as a noise source, and many radios have auto notch filters so the operator does not even have to adjust anything.  Just press the Auto Notch button and the annoyance goes away.  For this reason jammers are typically more complex waveforms, often rapidly changing and with multiple audio frequencies active at any one time.

Have been noting this for several days now, and is generally quite strong.  At times, strong (what would be described in other areas) key clicks can be seen.  At other times I have also noted several (unintentional?) modulation components within +/- 1 kHz of the carrier.

This has been heard here for some time, it's an FSK transmission (KG84 encrypted) that often just idles with one of the frequencies present. I've also noted Link-11 around here in the past. 

The net result is to make 6945 and, to a lesser extent, 6950 less than ideal for listening to pirates.
