Some nights the band is wide open and good distances are achieved, other nights things not so good.  Harmonics and crud from Medium Wave still a slight problem here but good filtering from the FT-2000 handles most of that.  Wire is still 310 feet in length, cannot go much longer unless I buy out the neighbours... :D
