I have yet to hear any trace of either audio or a carrier on this frequency, despite many attempts at different times over the course of several days.  ???

Thanks for the info Chris! I have not given up hope...guess it's a hit or miss and we keep missing! :)

EDIT:I have detected a weak carrier at 2314 UTC  ;D

2144 - noise generator with signal peaking S9+10
2146 - marine forecast for Columbia River / Florence to Cape Oregon area
2150 thru 2204 - sound effects, noise generator, also played audio while tuning quickly across receiver, also some sideband chatter
2231 - dude what are you doing? - now playing computer settings thru voice synthesizer. mentioned HF Underground and Lobdell
2236 - thanks for the audio check..please QSL!!

New day, July 17, 2016 - signal same as before S9

0348 - Finally a pretty good sig from this station. Easy 59 sig here
(through RN crashes). Sounds best in SAM mode. Anyone
who plays Pink Floyd can't be all bad! :)  I can still
hear the sweeper in the background - I hear the same(?)
sweeper up around 11+ mHz. Also some ALE under @ 0353

Been listening on/off for a few days HFU tips. 0407 Z playing Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd. SINPO: 4,5,4,3,4, peaks S9 +5, 90% copy. Audio is good! Best in USB for me, AM QRN....great audio though, 8.25 kHz wide. 0418 Z Run Like Hell - Pink Floyd, 0423 Z Waiting For The Worms - Pink Floyd. Greyline just pasted SINPO: 4,5,3,3,3 50% copy. 0441 Z YL with numbers ??? then dead air.
0530 Z re-check might be relay of marine traffic ??? S4 signal but QRN makes tough copy, AM modulated but best in USB. 0645 Z re-recheck playing music, songs by YLs, I don't know songs, just at QRN level. AM modulated best in USB... SINPO: 3,5,2,3,2+. 0850 Z heard CHU Time Signal Station relayed heard both EE & FR IDs and correct time. 1350 Z now hearing a relay of RHC in SP,  sounds like a news cast. 1530 Z still there relaying a commercial produced program with YL/OM in SP. Is It possible this is a ship at sea rebroadcasting to its (a) fleet ?  :-\ Thanks, nice change!
