UNID 6925 CW 0330 UTC 19JUL2016
« on: July 19, 2016, 0408 UTC »
~0330 Started with "V"s then into 5 letter groups. I got into here
~2 minutes into it and punched Audacity and recorded the
          final ~6:30.

~0338 Assumed s/off w/"YYYYY 23233 23233 23233 UVB33 UVB33 UVB33 K"

CW sounded good @ ~18 wpm but the sig was weak w/some QSB and QRN
Guess someone was trying to be a Numbers station...

{Edit 1835  19jul16}
Chris,
Yeah, I had the same thought about the UVB33 after I later read
the posting, in General Discussions, about UVB-76. I didn't copy much
last night as I was doing laundry at the time it was on so I only
was able to be in the shack just before s/off. I did get most of it
on Audacity and plan to play that back and see if there's anything
else of interest...
Paul

Heard here on the SDR recording with a fair signal and a bit of static. I assume UVB33 is a take off on UVB-76, the Buzzer.

Here's what I copied with MultiMode: ( http://www.blackcatsystems.com/software/multimode.html )

Thanks, WJD. The link worked great. That was interesting reading.
I note that this report was for a PSK-63 mode. It gets curiouser
and curiouser. I usually leave the SDR-IQ parked on 6925 when
I'm not listening elsewhere (sorry, not 6930 :))

BTW: You sound pretty good tonight but getting covered by
QRN crashes from time to time but such is life at this time of
the year. We are having too much of mid - upper 90s temperatures
and real close dew points. Gotta love Mr. Carrier for his cool
invention! BTW#2 - I could enjoy a change of mx to something
like Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Bluegrass... Just my
never humble opinion ;D Have a good transmission tonight!
Hey, a change of mx even before I clicked the Post button!

It could be legit, however I am, by nature, suspicious of any transmission on 6925 kHz  ;D

if it is legit, they are brilliant, drop it in the middle of the pirate band. everyone will dismiss as a pirate.

A small US based Revolutionary group got up to similar hijinks about 15 years ago, WJD. There was a split in the leadership and it fell apart. While it lasted it was beyond anything even the NSA has conceived. Surprisingly, it was conceived by two of the biggest knucleheads in the movement. Knucklehead Number Three did the QSL's.
