Copying WFAN and WFED here in SE Fla. Good signal strength on WFAN but WFED is readable just above the noise. 710 is covered up with Spanish and 1100 is just noise. Having a clear channel certainly helps.
WFAN seems to be fading just a bit as we get out of gray line.
I haven't been doing much MW but figured I would check and was surprised at the strong signal on the NY station.

Nice catch on WFAN.  I had them once in Bermuda and Key West.

One of my favorite things to do.

College basketball dx'ing in midwinter can be fun, too. A lot of the mid-majors/ small colleges have very small networks or just a single outlet. Tip-offs are usually 7 pm. or 9 pm. in the schools respective time zone. You can hear them pop up as the band gradually goes longer.

There were three other possible gets but I missed - I was looking for the White Sox on the wrong frequency, KMOX was being overridden by a Spanish station, and now that the Orioles have flown from WBAL - WTEM (DC) 980AM is my only chance.  So, it's either WTEM or the Sox Worcester, MA affiliate (same frequency) - last night the Sox.
