EPH 245 is new and has not been positively nailed down.  They say it is local to Seattle, and that EPH may mean Ephrata.

I have no idea what is normal or extraordinary for this as I'm new to LF listening but I have
noticed that I will almost always hear the ALJ station at Orca bay, 550km due west of me, even though it is only 50 watts.  The OCC station at Yakutat does not come in as consistently and it's 1000 watts and only 240km away.

I'll be heading back to Kingston soon so I'm going to stay up late tonight and try to get the Alert station LT.  It may be my last chance for a while.

Regarding unid EPH, cannot find any NOTAM or current approach plate associated with KSEA or KEPH
that mentions a NDB EPH.
No way of hearing it here, powerhouse YZE Gore Bay ON owns 245 here in Michigan
(although once upon a time did manage to pull FS Sioux Falls SD out from under it).
This one remains a mystery for now.
Otherwise, now is the time for LW DX, wintertime with a K Index around zero for the past week or so.
Das Radiobunker somewhere in Michigan

If EPH is in Seattle, as suggested by jFarley, then it's a real powerhouse.  It would be about 1700km south of me but I can hear it every night loud and clear.

EPH  Possibly Seattle as per jFarley, thanks for the info.

Turns out to have been a malfunctioning HNS Haines AK 245kHz sending as "EPH"
Now fixed by the FAA
