Liquid Radio 6925 AM 2143 UTC 19Nov16
« on: November 19, 2016, 2145 UTC »
Been seeing a carrier here - abt S5 - for a while now.  No audio.

And now it's gone at 2148

2202 I do believe that some thumpacious mx has commenced.
2241 still too weak to firmly ID, but shore sounds like LR to me
2338 Still on but very little audio now.

Thanks!

I've noticed a carrier appearing and disappearing there all day. Always weak.

Detecting carrier at 2209, something way below the noise. Odds on Liquid Radio.
2213 rock music now distinguishable in the noise, no thumping beat. Maybe not LR.
2219 signal faded several minutes ago, carrier still detectable

Hearing a lot of thumpage in the noise @ 2250.  Carrier is about S5 but audio seems low.
Had faded down to barely audible, but back up now to S5 @ 0055.
0150 - suddenly up to S7 to S8 and good copy with "Open Your Mind"

S7 here in N. Alabama with thumping dance beats at 2300.  Ad or theme music that sounded like the one for FarmersOnly.com at 2312.

Seemed to be gone by around 2330

Tuned in at 2345utc, weak at or below noise level, hear bass note beat of EDM (electronic dance music), RF-4900 & dipole. (EDM is a term that I got from the PBS program "Soundbreaking")
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com
