I have one, possibly two, pirates on 1710, mixing with the NJ TIS.

One is playing caribbean music, the other, if there is another, could be from Cochrane, Ontario, the op said running 450 watts.

I can hear the Caribbean station in the mix and it's usually the strongest, S6 - and also:

   - The Springfield Armory National Historical Park Service (Springfield, Mass), S5.

   - Flu health loop, in/out S1-S3: Chronic Illnesses, AIDS, If you think you have the flu, wash your hands using hot water and soap.  Couldn't copy the ID.  Ah, finally got it - "Hudson Regional Health Commission" (Hudson County, NJ).

   - New Jersey Travelers Information Service - in/out S0-S4

Sadly, all I ever get here is the Springfield Armory TIS...24 hours a day 7 days a week. Living 3 miles from the xmtr insures that hardly anything else gets through. Rarely, I get some weak cochannel station...usually the Hudson County TIS
QSL's to poorbrookking >at< aol.com are greatly appreciated! All reception and postings using My radio, My antenna, and generally in real time(excluding posting of SSTV images!).
