DGPS Logs 18-19 Dec 2016

Not super exciting, the single decode stations at the top probably all bogus, although Sandspit has been heard here before. Some like Romania are plausible, but not likely with a single decode. Nice to see 17 decodes from Whidbey Island, it is tough to get here, as 302 is dominated by Panama (which did not come in well at all last night) and Point Loma CA, which OTOH had a lot of decodes. Also a lot from Appleton, WA. Seems like there was an opening to the west coast.

I am also going to process these I/Q files with the intensive decoding method, and see if anything different shows up.

Interesting that as far as NDBs go, other than the usual flamethrowers in BC, there was nothing from the west in last night's recording.

Is there a listing of what the transmitted powers of these DGPS stations might be?

I've seen figures quoted between 250-1000 watts; I found some pictures of the Sandy Hook, NJ site that said 200 watts.

Apparently you can buy your own DGPS transmitter! http://www.southernavionics.com/sc1000-dgps-transmitter

These guys sell NDB transmitters also, if that's your thing.
