Updates from HAARP on Iditarod.
« on: March 13, 2017, 2206 UTC »
Via Radio Bob:

Wolves 3
Mad Trappers & Prospectors 1
Bears 0

Expect Trapper and Prospector musher kills to go up as main race moves into more populated regions. Late hibernation has free ranging bear numbers down, leading to low bag numbers for the Ursine side, but it's a long race.

Radio Bob reports;

Wolves 5
Mad Trappers & Prospectors 3
Bears 0

When asked about his teams performance, Smokey Bear coach of the Bear side said, "We were hoping for an assist from our Polar Bear brethern fleeing the lack of ice, but a hard freeze near Barrow has kept them on the ice and north of the Alaska Range. There's still time for a thaw, however it could be too much ground to make up, Bob."

More updates as they arrive.

To clear up any confusion, while the sled racing portion of the Iditarod may be coming to an end, we at Fanco Sports will continue to update the real contest until all stragglers are accounted for and causes of death determined. I thank you.
