Wolverine Radio 6925 USB "Eye" theme
« on: July 24, 2010, 0202 UTC »
7/24/10
6925 USB
0202z: Barenaked Ladies "Testing 1-2-3" followed by Wolverine Radio ID and big band music.
0215z: Wolverine Radio ID
0218z: "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes"
0222z: "I Only Have Eyes For You"
0228z: Wolverine Radio ID after "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"
0238z: It's A Beautiful Day "Girl With No Eyes", James Taylor "You Can Close Your Eyes"
0247z: Jackson Browne "Doctor My Eyes", Loggins & Messina "Angry Eyes", occasionally peaking S7-S9 now.
0259z: Eagles "Lying Eyes", Wolverine Radio ID, Rolling Stones "Far Away Eyes"
0307z: Kim Carnes "Bette Davis Eyes", Billy Idol "Eyes Without A Face"
0327z: SSTV Scottie 1 after Jack Johnson "If I Had Eyes"

SINPO=32333, pesky local whining RFI, otherwise good clear signal and usual great audio (really noticeable in that bass line in "Angry Eyes").

Nice signal. S4 to S5 and QRN respectably below that level

0210z Seeing peaks over S9 with the full Quarter-wave 40M ground-mounted vertical antenna (but QRN seems worse compared to dipole) ...

0214z The 'easy listening' format continues ... nice change from the usual!

0224z "Can't take my eyes off you"
