YHWH 7630 AM 0317 UTC 14 May 2017
« on: May 14, 2017, 0326 UTC »
A pretty regular "pirate" likely still located in the Mojave Desert of California at 03:17 tune-in.  Very good reception, but usual awful less than telephone audio, and clipped modulation.  Normally has been on 7615 of late, but tonight on new 7630.  Not our usual pirate fare, but still a pirate, as he's unlicensed.  73, Walt in Victoria, BC

0340 Pretty strong carrier on the waterfall for a pirate, but weak audio. I can make out about every third word or so, but "Yahweh" has been one I've heard more than once.
0425 as noted by canswl and Davep below, now on 7620. Still strong carrier but weak audio for me.
0426 and off
0448 on 7605 as noted by canswl, but just a carrier now with only the tracest of trace audio.
0459 audio better now, but still seems undermodulated
0515 heard some website given, then QRT

YHWH, 7630 AM, 0347, 5.14.17.  YHWH preacher's distinctive voice, 0351 very unique music used at the end of the program,

S7 signal, but very poor audio - only intelligible at peaks.

He must beam N/NW towards me on Vancouver Island.  He's a solid S9 + 20 or more at 04:00.  He most definitely doesn't use the word Halelujah.  The music you hear, and there's only one ever, is called Days of Hard Life (thanks to Ron Howard for IDing this one, and can be seen/heard here:  http://goo.gl/YQPcv0    Watching the signal, I could see another carrier just above YHWH.  When YHWH cut off at 04:04, I could just make out some music, so this is what others may have reported.  He then came back and announced dropping to 7620 due to jamming.  Sure enough, on the lower frequency, modulation is cleaner.   Walt

He's now moved to 7605, after being on several others trying to escape a cochannel music jammer, about 30 Hz high.  Anyone make out any content of that fellow?   I could just barely make out some music when YHWH moved.   73,  Walt in Victoria, BC
