2217 Fair signal in Colorado - something of a surprise given the time of day. Thanks for the show!
2231 Signal S9 with +10 peaks now, 13th Floor Elevators "Fire Engine"
2237 heard some CW, had also heard some at 2230. Think the first letter was X.

2232 UTC "Fire Engine"-13th Floor Elevators (Just above the noise floor here but strong enough for shazam to hit on!)

Tuned in at 2237utc, weak sig but no atmospheric noise, hear pop music, now slowly fading out at 2242utc, R-2000 & dipole.
At 2242½ CW ID, unfortunately I'm not fluent in Morse.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, CB antenna, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. williamhassig@yahoo.com
